The wait is finally over. 034Motorsport is proud to announce the release of VariSpec for EA839 2.9T and 3.0T Dynamic+ Tuning applications, bringing an unprecedented level of customization and control to some of Audi's most popular performance platforms.
Available now through 034SPI, VariSpec redefines the tuning experience by putting key engine, exhaust, drivetrain, and transmission features directly in the hands of the driver. Rather than being limited to a single calibration philosophy, customers can now tailor the behavior and character of their vehicle to match their hardware setup, driving style, and personal preferences, all from within 034SPI.
From refined daily drivability to an aggressive, motorsport-inspired experience, VariSpec allows you to make your Dynamic+ Tune truly your own.
What Is VariSpec?
VariSpec is the latest technological advancement built directly into the 034SPI app. When selecting your tuning files, you can now customize your Dynamic+ Tune before flashing, all within the same easy-to-use interface on mobile or laptop.
Instead of choosing a single fixed calibration, VariSpec allows you to configure specific features to create a tune that truly matches your build.
VariSpec is available today for B9/B9.5 EA839 3.0T and B9/B9.5 Audi RS4/RS5, and will be available for 4M.5 Q7 & 4M8 3.0T in 2 weeks' time.

- Dial in your perfect soundtrack with adjustable crackle duration, intensity, and firing patterns. Whether you prefer subtle pops during spirited driving or an aggressive motorsport-inspired character, VariSpec puts you in control.

Exhaust Flap Control (B9/B9.5 Only, Excludes 4M.5/4M8)
- Choose how your factory exhaust valves behave with multiple operating modes including Factory, Dynamic+ Optimized, Always Open, and Valveless Mode for aftermarket exhaust systems.

Catalyst Heating Control
- Stage 2 and Stage 3 customers can customize cold-start catalyst heating behavior, allowing you to tailor startup characteristics to better suit your environment and preferences.

RS Start (3.0T Models Only)
- Available on applicable EA839 3.0T applications, RS Start adds an unmistakable performance-car startup sequence with a brief flare of engine speed when starting the vehicle.

Auto Start/Stop Control
- Tired of disabling Auto Start/Stop every time you drive? VariSpec allows you to configure the system's default behavior or completely turn it off so your vehicle works the way you want it to.

Launch Grip (RS5 Only)
- For vehicles with high-grip tires or drag racing on a prepped surface, enabling High Grip increases the torque applied in 1st gear when using launch control.

Top Speed Limiter
- Maintain the factory limiter or remove it entirely for closed-course and sanctioned racing use.

Warm Idle Target
- Increase idle speed to 900 RPM to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) when using upgraded engine mounts, transmission mounts, or other performance drivetrain components.

Stock TCU Performance Patch
- Owners with locked or untuned factory transmissions can safely access the full torque output of their Dynamic+ ECU Tune without requiring immediate TCU tuning.

Left Foot Braking
- Enable simultaneous brake and throttle inputs for brake boosting and advanced driving techniques during performance driving.

Rolling KLi-MAX
- Bring 034Motorsport's AMAX-inspired shift strategy to rolling acceleration scenarios for faster, more aggressive shifts under heavy load.

Kickdown Switch Enabled in Manual Mode (3.0T Models Only)
- Choose whether kickdown remains active in Manual mode, allowing forced downshifts at full throttle while retaining manual gear selection.

No Auto Upshift (3.0T Models Only)
- Available on supported TCU applications, No Auto Upshift allows the engine to hold gears all the way to redline until you decide to shift.

Second Gear Launch (3.0T Models Only)
- For Stage 3 TCU applications only, Second Gear Launch helps reduce wheelspin and improve consistency in low-traction conditions.

- Displays the current gear in the instrument cluster.
034SPI App Update Available Now
Update your 034SPI app today via the App Store, Google Play Store, or PC to access VariSpec. Once updated, simply follow the normal flashing process and configure your VariSpec features before flashing.
