The Audi RS6/ RS7 and Audi S6/ S7 feature an indirect intercooler circuit where the charge air is cooled by a water-cooled intercooler. On this vehicle, the intercooler sits specifically in the hot V of the engine to provide optimal cooling.
This unique Wagner Tuning performance intercooler was developed specifically for the demanding requirements of RS models. With a high quality intercooler core, it offers 118% more external core volume compared to the original. The ratio between the internal and external cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer while allowing optimal internal airflow. Through CFD simulations, the end boxes were developed from high-quality aluminum chill casting to ensure optimal airflow conditions. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This kit is therefore also ideally suited for racing.
