After some testing, we've found that the "rock guards" from the VW Mk8 models also fit other Audi and VW MQB models. These aero pieces easily attach directly to your lower rear control arms with the included riv-nuts (for cars with smaller rock guards already installed, you can re-use the existing riv-nuts on the upper mounting locations of the new aero covers). Aside from protecting against rocks and debris, these aero covers reduce turbulent airflow at the rear of your vehicle. This means less road/wind noise, a more stable feeling across the rear axle, and a slight bump in fuel economy while highway cruising.
