Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air filter is placed into the original air box space and is protected by a heat shield which is designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower. The air intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the breather hose. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). This easy to install plug and play tuner attaches to sensors in the engine bay and works with your factory ECU tuning to remap boost, timing, and fueling for optimal performance and reduced turbo lag. Includes full CANbus allowing the JB4 to access and incorporate all engine data in it's tuning strategies, incorporate unique safety features such as keeping boost pressure low until oil and water is up to temperature to provide proper engine and turbo lubrication, and drop to a low boost map if the engine starts to over heat, run lean, excessively knock, or over boost. Fully compatible with JB4 mobile for on the fly map changes, data logging, firmware updates, and much more.
JB4 gains start at 30hp and 40ft lb.
Unitronic Performance ECU Software Info:
Unlike the JB4, this software is installed directly to your ECU. Please note that if you would prefer to install this software yourself at home, you will need to add a Uniconnect+ tuning interface to your order via the option above. Otherwise, you will need to bring your car to one of our shops to have the software installed.
Performance gains for this software depend heavily on what fuel you use in your vehicle. 93 octane gains with this software are 31 HP and 41 FT-LBS of torque.
