Audi DL382 DSG 7-Speed Transmission Ultimate Service Kit

This kit includes every single filter, fluid, gasket, o-ring, drain plug and piece of hardware required to completely service an Audi DL382 7-speed DSG transmission. Whether you're looking to DIY your transmission service or have another shop do it for you, this kit has literally everything you need.

Service Interval
Below are the service intervals that we follow for the DL382 transmission. We suspect that most people purchasing this kit will be doing all of the services at once, which is completely fine. If that is the case, simply note your current mileage and then follow the service intervals after you've reached the required mileage to perform the service again.

At both of our professional service centers, we typically recommend replacing all of the DSG filters at 120k miles, which should fall on your third DSG fluid service if you are properly following the Audi Maintenance schedule for your vehicle.

The DSG fluid service interval is every 40k miles.

The MTF fluid should be changed every 80k miles. However, we realize that many people that have never had the MTF fluid replaced since it's not listed by Audi as a standard maintenance item.

We recommend replacing the AWD clutch fluid every 40k miles.

Service Tips
When you drop the valve body/mechatronic unit from the transmission and disassemble/remove the filters, clean everything off using brake cleaner and wipe it dry. This ensures that when you install the new hardware and gaskets/seals there is no fluid or residue present. Any fluid or residue can prevent the proper sealing of gaskets or tightening of new hardware.

Also, while you have the transmission pan off, make sure to clean it completely. Take your time and fully clean the magnets on the inside of the pan as well.

Audi Maintenance Schedule Note
It's important to point out that Audi does not have a replacement interval for the filters included in this kit. This means that if you talk to an Audi dealership, they will not recommend replacement of these filters because they are not trained to replace them. This is a common flaw with using the dealership for maintenance.

While they don't typically show signs of clogging or wear early on, these filters are still wear items that will break down over time. We highly recommend performing this service at 120k miles to ensure that you don't cause any premature wear to your transmission.
