Requirements
No hardware upgrades are required for tuning. However, tune add-ons to accommodate hardware changes can be purchased.
FlashZilla Pro dongle is compatible with CP57 ECUs. Sprinter models with MD1 ECUs will require the ECU to be shipped in for tuning.
Notes
It is important to note that TuneZilla does not remove factory readiness monitors or force readiness for any factory installed components. If you are installing aftermarket hardware that is for off-road use only, please double check with your state requirements prior to flashing.
Please note that any fault codes or warning messages should be cleared before you begin with tuning. Please ensure that the SCR countdown is cleared before flashing on a tune file or shipping in your ECU. This fault message may remain on screen even after the component is deleted in the ECU.
You can download the Stage 1 tune file (included with the purchase of your Stage 2 tune) through InstaTune if you will be towing or carrying heavier loads to help prevent hitting the EGT limiter.
