Calibrations for this tuning were performed on a hub dyno for accuracy and road tested and logged for consistency. TuneZilla has adjusted fuel trim and timing to optimize power specifically for all levels of equipped hardware upgrades.

TuneZilla strives for an OEM level of drivability and reliability. Their team of Calibrators from around the world painstakingly works to deliver repeatable performance on all of their base maps. One of the major differences between TuneZilla tunes and most of their competitors' tunes is their linear OEM-like throttle response. Where some software tuners increase throttle response to mask the actual output of their tunes by giving a very peaky feeling under acceleration, TuneZilla tunes are designed to make the most usable and consistent power curve possible to maintain a strong pull without a heavy fall off midway through the power band. All while generating peak power as early as possible in the RPM range. Most off-the-shelf tunes advertise an attractive peak power figure, but suffer from a sudden drop in torque and a lower torque curve throughout the remainder of the RPM range.

Available Stages:

Stage 1
The power gains are realized with stock hardware, leading to a 16+% Torque gain and a 20+% Horsepower gain. Upgraded air intake and other cooling system upgrades may be used to see even more gains. With peak boost increased from 15psi to 21psi and throttle input adjusted, your A4 will drive the way you've come to expect from the 4 rings.

Stage 2
Fuel trim and timing optimized for power output on 93 octane fuel. This nets an incredible 38% Torque gain and a 31% Horsepower gain. Peak boost is also adjusted from 15psi to 26psi. Paired with the TuneZilla DSG tune, the Stage 2 package brings the Gen 3 2.0T into a whole new realm of driver enjoyment.

91 octane can be support by request, but 93 octane is recommended for optimal power and proper gains.

Stage 3
The TuneZilla Stage 3 tune was developed using a Hybrid IS20 from Perun Turbo and TTE440. These turbochargers paired with this tune net an incredible 44% Torque gain and a 39% Horsepower gain over stock power levels. Peak boost is also adjusted from 15psi to 26psi. Paired with the TuneZilla DSG tune, this Stage 3 package brings the Gen 3 2.0T into a whole new realm of driver enjoyment.

The TuneZilla DSG tune is a complete re-work of the factory DSG settings. They've worked with our calibrators to bring you a perfect all around package that enhances drivability and increases enjoyment. In manual mode, you have full control of your upshifts with the “auto up-shift” disabled. Clutch pressure is increased across all drive modes to handle the increased torque from our Stage 1 or 2 files.
