The Turbo Engineers TTE700 EVO Turbocharger - Audi 8S TTRS, 8V RS3 - New Turbo



A TTE700 Is an original RS3 8V.2/TTRS 8S turbocharger that we the THETURBOENGINEERS Rework to make amazing performance yet still plug & play fitting with an upgrade inlet. To make a TTE700 the compressor wheel is exchanged for a TTE milled aluminum wheel with state-of-the-art geometry, 7+7 blade so producing extra power. Equally, we change the original exhaust turbine for a far larger but very lightweight 9 blade TTE designed the turbine for lower exhaust gas backpressure giving greater performance. We also fitted a TTE motorsport upgrade bearing system for durability.

The Turbo Engineers use the latest generation of BorgWarner original turbochargers with the latest spec Audi thermal shielding on the exhaust manifold & turbine housing to lower engine bay temperatures and ensure the best performance and safety.

Important note* While the hardware in this listing is compatible with your vehicle it is possible that the required tuning is not. To confirm ECU tuning is available for your car, your vehicle's ECU box code must be identified. If you own VAG COM, OBDeleven, Carista, or have access to factory VW/Audi diagnostic tooling, you can follow this guide to identify your ECU box code. You can also visit either New German Performance shop location and our staff will be happy to assist. The customer assumes all risk if this turbocharger purchased and installed without first confirming the required software is available. No returns are accepted for installed turbocharger kits.


Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequent great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial numbered balance test result document.

Supporting Hardware/Software:

We highly recommend upgrading your factory exhaust system in order to prevent back-pressure issues. You must upgrade your factory downpipe to a high-flow downpipe system in order to use this turbocharger. We recommend using the APR downpipe kit with this turbocharger. You must replace your midpipes along with the upper downpipe section.

The APR Turbocharger Inlet System is recommended for use with this turbocharger.

Upgrading your intercooler to APR's high performance front mount intercooler system is highly recommended. Without this upgrade, you will heatsoak your factory intercooler system very easily. This will result in a huge loss of power.

An ECU upgrade is required in order to take advantage of this turbucharger. We recommend APR's Stage 3 ECU software for use with the TTE700 turbocharger upgrade.
