The “Sport” brake kit is where it all began for TAROX brake kits. Most Sport kits feature Tarox's B32 6 piston caliper, the direct descendant of the 6 piston caliper developed for the first ever TAROX brake kit built for the BMW E30 M3 in 1994. TAROX founder Gianni Taroni’s decision to ignore convention and develop a 6 piston caliper rather than 4, combined with the use of such high quality raw materials was a revolutionary step that affirmed TAROX as a pioneer of performance braking.

The two piece discs feature heat treated billet steel rotors and separate alloy bells which results in an incredibly strong component with the lowest possible overall weight. The focus with any TAROX Sport kit is to ensure an increased level of performance under both street and track conditions with a firm, modulated brake pedal. Also, every effort is made to develop a kit that can be used in the vast majority of occasions with the cars O.E wheels.

As with all TAROX kits the Sport range integrates with all modern day driving assistants such as ECS, ABS and dynamic driving aids. The Tarox KMVW0275 330mm Sport brake kit features the following:

• Heat treated CNC machined billet 2pc 330x26mm rotors in the F2000 style

Tarox Performance Brake Pads:

No matter what your requirements from a brake pad TAROX will have something to suit your needs, whether it is for hard track day use or you just require a greater quality pad for your daily driver. TAROX pads are made from the highest quality materials developed to meet and exceed European regulations.

Three different compounds are available offering varying levels of performance and comfort. It is generally considered the higher performance the pad the less comfortable it will be for day to day driving conditions.

Strada Brake Pads:
The Strada pads are ideal for fast road use and every day driving. They work great from cold and provide immediate response without pre-heating whilst also offering a higher coefficient of friction for improved braking power, improved resistance to high temperatures and a longer service life than O.E materials. They provide an excellent pedal feel and allow full control over braking for the driver.

Capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 600°C, this pad has an optimum temperature range of 150°C to 350°C.

Coefficient of friction: Cold 0.37 Hot 0.42

• Gives a good progressive pedal feel
• low disc wear
• Low noise in most driving conditions

Corsa Brake Pads:
The Corsa pad is a great all – round pad, and although primarily intended for track day use, the pads can also be used to great effect for fast road use on more powerful cars. Corsa pads are still effective from cold and therefore give maximum performance at all temperatures. The high coefficient of friction gives amazing levels of pedal feel and massive amounts of bite, yet they are not hard on discs like some track type pads.

Capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 800°C, this pad has an optimum temperature range of 200°C to 600°C.

Coefficient of friction: Cold 0.47 Hot 0.49

• Available for most popular high performance cars
• Steady and fade-free performance
• Gives good pedal feel
• Can be slightly noisy at low speeds and in traffic

Competizione Brake Pads:
Developed on the race track the Competizione compound is for pure racing, delivering performance without compromise. Featuring a high coefficient of friction, this pad has a superior release characteristic compared to other race materials making it easier to modulate. It delivers a very hard pedal feel due to a low compressibility level and outstanding thermal stability which ensures constant performance lap after lap.

Capable of withstanding temperatures of over 900°C, this pad has an optimum temperature range of 400°C to 800°C.

Coefficient of friction: Cold 0.47 Hot 0.53

• Suitable for most high performance cars and all Tarox calipers
• Suitable for all types of competition
• High initial bite and very consistent performance lap after lap
• Firm pedal feel due to very low compressibilty level
• Safe but VERY noisy if used on the road.
