For all Mk5 Rabbit, Jetta and New Beetle 5-cylinder models with 5-speed transmission. A great package for use with modest modifications! Capable of holding over 200whp, this clutch package will be smooth and easy on the street, while offering better clamping and better performance on the street. Lower weight means better throttle response, improved acceleration in low gears. Long wearing OEM HD Sachs clutch will take city / highway driving in stride. Not a racing clutch. Total overall weight reduction is 9.7 pounds from your standard set up. OEM kit complete with clutch is 32.8 lbs, while this flywheel with a standard Sachs clutch is is 23.1 lbs. Made from high-quaity 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum plate. It also features durable 1050 steel friction plates, with aircraft grade bolts and nuts. The ring gear (if chosen) are heat-treated, pressed on, and then secured with grade 10 fasteners. Replaceable steel friction plates also sold separately.
