Genuine OEM short shifter kit from the Mk1 Audi TT . Results in a 20% reduction in throw front to rear. Direct fit [no other parts needed] on all Mk4 5-Speed model year 2002-2005 vehicles which have the silver counter-weight shifter with the pin and circlip connector setup already.See below image.
This can be used on Mk4s 2000-2001 with ball and socket connector but the new short shift lever will requires a newer style cable end (OE Part# 1J0-711-761B) and circlip (OE Part# N90815903) to be used.
Please note: Early Mk4 cars from 99.5 to early 2000 use a Mk3 style shift weight which cannot use this short shift upgrade due to fact that there is no cable connector to the shift weight.
If you have the black style shift weight you cannot use the TT short shifter on your car.
