Genuine VW/Audi transfer case/clutch fluid for various Audi and VW vehicles. This fluid is used in the AWD clutch transfer case section of various Audis with Quattro Ultra AWD systems. It is also used in the rear differential of Audi B8/B9 generation S4, S5, SQ5 and RS5 vehicles equipped with the optional torque vectoring sport differential.

Audi currently has a TSB regarding hearing noises or feeling binding during turns. We have also experienced binding or hesitation when simply driving in a straight line. Per the TSB, the fix for this issue involves flushing the AWD clutch section of the transmission with this fluid, draining it, and then filling it again. The fill capacity of this AWD clutch section when warmed up is only 0.36L, which means you only need one bottle to perform the flush/fill procedure. You will also need access to VCDS/VAG-COM or ODIS to load the basic settings required as well as two new drain/fill plugs.
Replacement/Service Interval
Audi does not technically have a service interval for replacing the the AWD clutch fluid in the DL382 transmission. Our recommendation is to replace the fluid every 40k miles. This would mean changing the AWD clutch fluid whenever you change the DSG fluid.
