Replacement rear lower control arm for VW Mk5, Mk6, B6 Passat, CC, 5N Tiguan, Audi 8P A3 and 8J TT/TTS/TTRS vehicles. Also commonly identified as the rear spring bucket as well. It's not uncommon for your lower rear control arms to rust out as they get older; leading to a dangerous driving situation. We also highly recommend inspecting the inner toe bushings of your control arms on a annual basis since they tend to tear over time. In addition, repeated alignments can also lead to the wearing of this bushing as well since a torch is often used to loosen the eccentric toe adjustment bolts that go through the bushings.
Inner Toe Bushing Upgrade
While the rubber bushings that come pressed into these control arms will last you many years, we do have an upgraded bushing option available for those interested. This upgrade comes in the form of a SuperPro 70a durometer polyurethane bushings. Due to their polyurethane construction, these bushings will outlast their rubber counterparts and also offer a slight increase in handling due to less deflection. Finally, the SuperPro bushings also come with a lifetime warranty for the ultimate in peace of mind.
