Direct bolt-on replacement turbo for the Passat / Audi A4 1.8T models. Longitudinal engines only! For solid power gains, upgraded programing is needed. Without special programming, only 5-10 horsepower in gains are typically seen over the stock turbo.
In order to qualify for warranty coverage, proof of the following having been done at the time of install must be provided:
- Oil change
- Oil feed and return line replacement
- New paper or cleaned reusable air filter
- Spark plugs
- All new gaskets and install hardware for turbo
- Break in: 750 miles low RPM / load and low boost
