BFI - VW Mk5 / Mk6 - Complete Transmission Mount - Stage 1 - 5spd / Tiptronic - Open Box

This BFI transmission mount is new and unused. It was used for a display item and as a result is listed as an open box item. The polyurethane section is yellow since this was the color BFI previously used for their stage 1 mounts. Includes new installation hardware (not shown in images).

After years of design and testing we are finally proud to announce the release of BFI's complete replacement transmission mount for MK5/6 vehicles.

This mount will completely replace your old, tired, transmission mount and will eliminate the soft rubber bushing that your car is equipped with from the factory.

This softness is a detriment to performance and overall longevity as the rubber in the mount will collapse over time hindering driveability and wasting horsepower. We eliminate this possibility by replacing the mount completely with our proprietary bushing and bracket design.

Maximizing bushing area to minimize vibration where possible gives our mount the advantage of having the best ride characteristics possible from a urethane bushing mount.

Stage 1 with its 65a durometer bushings are geared towards the spirited enthusiast who wants better control over motor movement without the sacrifice of excessive vibrations. Its our recommendation for all 5cyl street cars.

Fits 5 speed manual and automatic transmissions only. Will not fit 6-speed manual or DSG transmissions.

Please Note: Any aftermarket motor mount / trans mount / dogbone mount that is firmer than the OEM mount can increase noise and/or vibration to some level above the stock mount. All sales of open box products are final.
