034Motorsport 1-Piece Rear Brake Rotor Upgrade Kit, Audi B8/B8.5, B9/B9.5, C7/C7.5 A6/A7, & D4 A8

Directional Cooling. Stronger Materials. Real Performance at a Fair Price:
034Motorsport 1-Piece Rotors deliver a meaningful braking upgrade for Audi and Volkswagen platforms without the cost of a two-piece system. Designed as a direct replacement for factory rotors, they combine advanced cooling technology, a high-strength alloy, and proven track-inspired features at a price point typically reserved for basic blank rotors.

Unlike factory rotors that rely on straight internal cooling vanes and soft iron alloys, 034Motorsport 1-Piece Rotors are engineered from the inside out to manage heat more effectively and hold up under repeated braking events.

Directionally Ventilated for Active Cooling:
Most OEM Audi and VW rotors utilize straight internal cooling vanes or no vanes at all, which create limited airflow and minimal active cooling effect. 034Motorsport rotors feature directionally ventilated internal vanes that pull air in from the center of the disc and force it outward. This increased airflow greatly improves heat transfer and cooling of the rotor, helping the rotor stay cooler during hard street driving, spirited back roads, autocross, and light track use. Cooler rotors maintain braking consistency and reduce the likelihood of fade, warping, or hotspots.

High Strength CM-250 Alloy:
Factory rotors are typically cast from relatively soft iron, which wears quickly and warps under high pressure and high heat. 034Motorsport 1-Piece Rotors use a Heat-Treated CM-250 special alloy formulated specifically for performance driving. This material is more resistant to heat cycling, less prone to warping, and better suited for repeated high-temperature braking than OEM rotors.

J-Slot Friction Face:
The J-slot slotted friction surface is designed to do more than just look aggressive. J-slots help clear debris from the pad surface, allow pad off-gassing under high temperatures, and distribute heat more evenly across the rotor face, reducing the likelihood of hot spots. This results in more consistent braking performance compared to traditional straight slots or drilled rotors, which can concentrate heat and increase the risk of cracking.

Street Friendly, Track Capable:
These rotors are optimized for daily driving, spirited canyon runs, autocross, and entry-level track days. They are fully compatible with stock calipers and can be used with factory pads or upgraded performance pads. For drivers engaging in more aggressive back-road use or extended track sessions, 034Motorsport 2-Piece rotors remain the ideal solution and are recommended for the highest thermal demands.

Built for Year-Round Use:
Each rotor is finished with a Geomet anti-corrosion coating to protect against rust and corrosion, making them suitable for all weather oncditions. Temperature-indicating paint marks on the rotor edge provide a visual reference for heat exposure during aggressive driving or track use.

Temperature-Indicating Paint Marks:
034Motorsport 1-Piece Performance Brake Rotors feature temperature-indicating paint marks on the rotor edge that provide a quick visual reference for heat exposure during aggressive street driving, autocross, or track use.

The paint changes color at specific temperature thresholds to help drivers understand operating conditions:

  • Green → White at 478°C (892°F)
  • Orange → Yellow at 571°C (1060°F)
  • Red → White at 640°C (1184°F)

If the red paint turns white throughout, the rotors are consistently operating beyond their intended temperature range. This may indicate the need for lower-friction brake pads, improved cooling, or upgrading to 034Motorsport 2-Piece Rotors, which have higher heat dissipation capabilities with their two-piece design.

Performance That Makes Sense:
034Motorsport 1-Piece Rotors are priced competitively with basic blank replacement rotors, while delivering meaningful performance improvements in cooling, durability, and braking consistency. This makes them one of the best value brake upgrades available for Audi and VW owners.
