The X34 Carbon Fiber Audi MQB Cold Air Intake System for 8V Audi A3/S3 and MkVII Volkswagen Golf/GTI/R equipped with 1.8T/2.0T Gen 3 engines has arrived! This true cold air intake yields horsepower and torque gains throughout the powerband, peak gains of up to 15 crank horsepower and with 12 ft-lbs of torque with the factory turbocharger.
034Motorsport’s engineers thoroughly evaluated the factory airbox design to create a performance replacement that reduces pressure drop in the intake tract, while offering OEM+ fit and finish. The result is this complete one-piece MQB Carbon Fiber Air Intake Upgrade, which offers 100% bolt-on installation without the need for any additional pieces.

The carbon fiber weave for the MQB 1.8T/2.0T Gen 3 Air Intake was carefully selected to match OEM engine trim found in Audi’s RS models, providing OEM+ looks and fitment while preventing heat transfer from the engine bay.

Retains Factory Lower Airbox
034Motorsport’s One-Piece Carbon Fiber Air Intake System bolts directly to the factory lower airbox and inlet duct to provide the turbocharger with air taken from the front of the vehicle. This allows the intake to draw in cool, dense air without disrupting flow to other parts of the engine bay.
High-Flow 4” Diameter Cone Filter
034Motorsport’s engineers designed the Carbon Fiber Upper Airbox to house a high-flow pleated cotton filter with a massive 4” diameter inlet, which is capable of supporting over 600 horsepower while providing excellent filtration.
