Huge weight savings just from installing this brake rotor kit! We were amazed at the weight of the stock TTRS 370mm discs 30.2 lbs per disc vs the VAGBremTechnic VBT/AP Racing rotors at 17.85 lbs per disc.
Your total weight savings are 24.7 lbs! The included brackets are a few hundred grams lighter as well for even more weight savings. It all helps!
The included caliper carriers are made from lightweight aluminium. These have steel thread inserts for strength along with a black anodised finish. The 2 piece brake discs are assembled with outer rotor rings made by AP Racing which are of the highest quality steel and come in either a grooved or drilled pattern. Matched with the VAGBremTechnic lightweight aluminium bells and a black anodized finish, this brake disc setup is a true floating 2 piece assembly. The float is in the disc bell rather than the disc. FInally, the included fitting kit comes with bolts that are high tensile M12x1.25 coupled with quality spring washers.
New pads are highly recommended to be installed.
