The Turbo Engineers TTE1020 Turbochargers

Introducing the TTE1020 turbochargers for the EA825 4.0T TFSI fitted to the AUDI RS6/RS7 C8, RS Q8, A8 60TFSI D5, PORSCHE CAYENNE, PANAMERA, LAMBORGHINI URUS.

For this stage, TTE fits Larger TTE Billet compressors and a larger TTE 9blade exhaust turbines and mill the exhaust housing to suit for great power capacity.

Much effort was focused on the CNC 5 axis milling program for the compressor housing inlet to ensure maximum flow to make TTE1020 something super special.

NEW Turbos are OEM/TTE1020 heat shielded as standard (as pictured).

To confirm ECU tuning is available for your car, your vehicle's ECU box code must be identified. If you own VAG COM, OBDeleven, Carista, or have access to factory VW/Audi diagnostic tooling, you can follow this guide to identify your ECU box code. The customer assumes all risk if this turbocharger purchased and installed without first confirming the required software is available. No returns are accepted for installed turbocharger kits.

Equilibrium

Precisely balancing the turbochargers is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit since longevity and performance are paramount. As an added bonus, the accoustics of the turbocharger are also improved. Great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieve TTE's strict balance standards. The balancing process occurs in multiple stages:

Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine. Next, components are assembled and the CHRA is dynamically balanced. Depending on the application, speeds up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using TTE's in house VSR machine are utilized to acquire the ultimate equilibrium. This takes the turbocharger to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial numbered balance test result document.

Required Hardware:

Since these turbochargers move more air than the factory units, an upgraded intake system is recommended. We also highly recommend upgrading the intercooler system to avoid heatsoak issues. Upgraded downpipes are also highly recommended and may be required with certain software.

If you are purchasing brand new turbochargers, you may require an OEM breather and extra fixing for installation.

In order to properly install this turbocharger upgrade to your vehicle, appropriate tuning software is required. Please note that while this turbocharger upgrade will fit several vehicles, software may not be available for your particular model.
