This is our most popular clutch package for the Mk4 1.8t vehicles with the 5-speed transmission. It is a complete clutch package, with everything you need to convert from the heavy, under-performing 220mm stock 1.8t clutch to a higher-strength 228mm VR6 clutch, and a lightened single-mass flywheel. This kit will feature the same smooth and easy drivability of your stock clutch, with better response and easier shifting. (easier rev-matching, etc) Better throttle response as well as a higher power holding capacity are icing on the cake. (up to 250whp with normal driving, easy) Works great on the G60 Corrado and Passat 16v cars as well!
Featuring the following parts:
- Sachs VR6 Clutch kit, includes Pressure plate, disc and throw-out bearing.
- New Lightened / Balanced 228mm flywheel for use on 1.8t engines. Weighs in at approx 13lbs, which is a saving of almost 10lbs over the heavy stock 1.8t flywheel!
