The Racingline Turbo Muffler Delete is a simple and cost-effective upgrade for any Audi or VW MQB-platform car using the 2.0T EA888 Gen3B TSI engines.
Racingline's Turbo Muffler Delete is a sleek single billet design which replaces the restrictive, power-robbing OEM part with a smooth, turbulence free air path exiting the turbo.
What does it do? The standard part is located on the outlet of the turbo compressor and is simply designed to reduce engine bay acoustics. Whilst it subdues the harmonic noises generated by the turbo, it also adds in disruptive turbulence to the airflow right where you don't want it.
By replacing the standard part with the VWR Turbo Muffler Delete, you’ll replace this restrictive section with a straight, uninterrupted piece. The result: better boost response giving a little more power, all the while being able to actually hear your turbo working
HOW TO TELL IF A CAR IS 'MAF'
The 2.0TSI EA888 Gen.3B 'Miller cycle' engines (all producing around 190ps) are becoming ever more popular across the VWG range - often replacing the previous 1.8TSI engines.
As these engines now use a Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF), they require a different version of the R600 intake (VWR12 G7R602) and the Turbo Inlet Hose (VWR12 G7R602ITBLA), so this Turbo Muffler Delete (VWR160001) now completes the Intake Package for these engines.
It's easy to check your car. Does it have this sensor and wiring shown in the picture below? That's the MAF sensor, so make sure you get the correct Turbo Muffler Delete, R600 and Turbo Inlet Hose.

Please note that we have run into fitment issues with 2021+ model years. On those model years there is a vacuum port that becomes blocked by the turbo muffler delete.
Only fits vehicles equipped with Gen3B engines. If you have a vehicle equipped with the regular Gen3 TSI engine, please use this version instead.
