Milltek Sport Catback Exhaust System - Race, Non-Valved - VW Mk8 Golf R
Seemingly on a bit of a run with Wolfsburg’s finest at the moment, British-based exhaust manufacturer Milltek has created yet another wonderful system for yet another hot VW. This time, it’s all about the freshly minted Mk8 Golf R.
Built from the same high quality non-magnetic stainless steel as the race car systems, by the very same craftsmen, and in the exact same Derbyshire factory, these new parts may be podium-ready, but they have been designed to walk the fine line between power and refinement. Four different exhaust tip configurations are available to fine tune the visuals of your VW Mk8 Golf R. The exhaust is based around a carefully optimised 3.15" (80mm) tube for maximum power and torque gains with a refined throttle response throughout the rev range.
This particular exhaust configuration is called "race" for a reason. There are no mufflers present and no resonators are used whatsoever. As a result, this exhaust system will produce a very loud exhaust note however you drive the vehicle. This exhaust does not retain the use of the factory valve operation and is the loudest possible configuration for this Milltek exhaust system.
