HIGH/LOW TORQUE FILES

IE High Torque ECU calibrations maximize power gains throughout the entire powerband which quickly exceeds the torque limitations of the factory DSG calibration (auto trans) or the stock clutch (manual trans) that leads to clutch slipping. Stage 1 and Stage 2 files include optional Low Torque files for vehicles with stock DSG tune or stock clutch. Both high and low torque files are included and can be switched between as often as you like. High Torque files require the additional purchase of a DSG transmission tune to reliably take advantage of the intense power.

E85 ETHANOL

E85 fuel unlocks the most performance potential from our stage 2 tune and even the ability to run 10s in a quarter mile! Ethanol contains tons of oxygen, burns cooler, and has a high resistance to knock. This provides more horsepower and torque than running conventional gasoline and is more readily available (in most states) and less expensive than race gas. E85 is an optional fuel map included with Stage 1 & Stage 2 purchase.

1000CC INJECTORS
E85 requires much more fuel and can stretch the limitations of the factory 2.5T fuel system. IE offers an optional 1000cc injector file included with your tune that allows the installation of larger port injectors. When added to the direct port injectors, the combination allows massive headroom to safely run E85 worry free. Adding larger port injectors is more cost efficient and reliable than an upgraded HPFP and will run on both pump gas and ethanol with a regular idle and stock-like drivability. For best results we recommend the Sharp-Motorsport injector kit.

E60-E85 ADAPTABLE
Although full E85 is recommended for the highest power output, safeguards are included within the E85 ECU calibration to adjust for ethanol as low as E60. This flexibility gives you the confidence to safely fill up at the pump which can commonly test lower than advertised E85.

IE's own tuning technology suite is used to completely reverse-engineer the factory ECU mapping, allowing our software engineers access to realign all safety protocols and sensors for the new performance calibration. Every tune parameter undergoes months of testing on our in-house dyno systems that utilize the world's only Sea Level Generator developed specifically to verify tune operations in any condition. IE's own in-house developed POWERlink cable and software gives you the freedom to quickly flash your car’s engine control unit (ECU) or transmission control unit (TCU) with your new IE performance tune. The cable simply plugs into your vehicle’s OBD-2 port, from there simply follow the on-screen directions to quickly upload the tune. Adding horsepower is as easy as clicking FLASH NOW!

The flash tool also grants instant access to upgrade tune stages, switch fuel octanes, flash back to stock, perform engine diagnostics, read/clear codes and gather high-quality operating data via logging.

System requirements:

Laptop or tablet with Wifi connection and USB port running Windows 7 or above operating system required. Powered by 32 or 64 bit processor with 1.0GHz or greater and 4GB of Ram.

Please note that if you are planning on flashing your car at home, we highly recommend having a proper battery charger on hand. If your vehicle loses power while flashing it, you run the risk of damaging your ECU.
