BFI VW MK7 / MQB Stage 1 Transmission Mount Insert
Upgrade your transmission mount and put more power to the ground while experiencing smoother shifting. Our polyurethane inserts are a direct replacement for those soft OEM pieces and really make a noticeable difference.
Stage1 70a poly inserts vs. the stock (45a) inserts are approximately 50% stiffer than stock. These inserts will increase some vibrations in cabin - especially during certain rpm ranges - but will be acceptable to most enthusiasts. We recommend Stage 1 trans inserts for stock and modified vehicles.
Please Note: Any aftermarket motor mount / trans mount / dogbone mount that is firmer than the OEM mount can increase noise and/or vibration to some level above the stock mount.
PLEASE NOTE:
These transmission inserts only fit VW/Audi transmission mount numbers 5Q0-199-555T & 5Q0-199-555R. Please check by your VIN number to see which transmission mount you have. DOES NOT FIT 5Q0-199-555AS or 5Q0-199-555AD!
