Audi B9 A4, A5, Allroad, Q5 2.0T OEM+ Sport Engine Mount Kit
This OEM+ Sport Engine Mount Kit for the Audi B9 A4, A5, A4 Allroad and Q5 gives you better power holding without adding unwanted NVH. Unlike aftermarket solid rubber or polyurethane engine mount kits, this kit features the firmer and more dense mounts used in 3.0T performance models such as the S4, S5 and RS5.

Improved Mount Design for Better Power Holding
As you can see in the images, the 3.0T mounts feature a more solid, thicker rubber portion. The durometer of the rubber used in the 3.0T mounts is also stiffer. These mounts were designed this way because the 3.0T engine is significantly heavier than the 2.0T engine. They also have to put much more power to the ground. This makes these mounts an excellent match for performance oriented A4/A5/Allroad/Q5 vehicles.

This thicker and stiffer mount design results in better resistance to engine movement when under load. With these mounts installed, you can launch your car harder. Power transfer to the road is also much more immediately noticeable. Shifts feel much more crisp and direct as well.
All of the Benefits, None of the Negatives
Solid engine mounts remove the hydraulic portion and replace it with a solid rubber core. Because of this, solid mounts tend to increase NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness). The most noticeable NVH is typically excessive vibration in the cabin at idle, in first gear and reverse. The best way to describe this feeling is that everything in the cabin is "buzzing" under these circumstances. While this is fine for a track vehicle, we completely understand that there are many Audi owners that want to retain a smooth, luxurious feeling. After all, it is a luxury vehicle.
Because the mounts in this kit are OEM factory replacement mounts, they retain the hydraulic system and are completely plug and play with your vehicle. This allows the mount to depressurize when idling, which results in a smooth idle with no increase in NVH in the cabin.

Replacement Hardware
The engine mount uses one-time use stretch bolts to hold it in place and secure it to the engine assembly. We do not recommend re-using the original hardware as they can back out. Because of this, we've given you the option to add new genuine Audi hardware to your mount kit. The hardware option adds all of the bolts needed to install both mounts.
