Stage I ECU Upgrade

The APR Passat B5 / B5.5 1.8t chip is available in a 1.0 Bar configuration. The chip is designed to operate within the stock turbochargers' efficiency range. APR chips are available in an octane specific version for the octane of gasoline that you typically run in your car. The power that the chip makes also depends on which ECU is in your vehicle. The Passat B5 / B5.5 1.8t ECU can be upgraded via DirectPort Programming or EMCS hard chip programming depending on the ECU.
