As the venerable 020 transmission continues to get older, the original gaskets and seals tend to become worn out out and in need of replacement. One such seal is the timing hole insert plug. Fortunately, we are still able to get these direct from VW so you can keep your Mk1, Mk2 or Mk3 on the road and enjoying those twisty backroads.
Used in conjunction with the green 020 timing insert (available for purchase as an option above).
