This is the ultimate intake system for the 2.0T EA888.4 Engine. It's a true full 109 mm intake system from the dual frontal inlet scoops all the way to the included turbocharger inlet adapter connecting directly to the turbo. The system is completely configurable making it an open or closed system, both with OEM inspired cover or more stylish carbon fiber covers in both twill and forged carbon fiber. The system is also compatible with stock and larger turbocharger systems, both OEM, hybrid, and aftermarket thanks to swappable back tubes and turbo inlet adapters. The system flows dramatically more than stock, has lower pressure drop, increases horsepower & torque, sounds better, looks better, is completely configurable to your desire, and comes in at a price point that's unbelievably affordable. This is the only intake system you'll ever need!

Thank goodness APR has given us a plastic intake at a good price (especially on sale). Was sick of everything for the Mk7 being carbon with matching inflated pricing. Leaving the intake open for now because the turbo noises are just too fun. Will drop the $90 cover on it once I’m over it.

Install instructions were decent. My biggest issue was getting the back of the main intake pipe to slide onto the supplied turbo inlet. It refused to go on and I could not get a ton of force into it due to the limited angle. Grabbed the wife’s hair dryer and heated up the plastic on the pipe a bit. Slid right into place. Oh, and don’t bother torquing the front hose clamps to spec (6Nm). That’s a bit too much force. Just make sure they’re “good and tight”.
