APR Gen 3/Gen 4 TSI Ignition Coil and Spark Plug Kit - 1.8T/2.0T
This kit combines APR's high performance ignition coilpacks with a matched set of spark plugs for a complete ignition service kit.
Spark Plug Details:
NGK PLFER7A8EG - These are the factory spark plugs that come as standard in most 1.8T and 2.0T vehicles. We recommend using these if your car is not tuned.
OEM RS7 - These NGK spark plugs are one step colder than the factory spark plugs for even better performance. We recommend using these in tuned vehicles.
NGK R7437-9 - These are two steps colder than the factory spark plugs. As a result, we only recommend running these plugs in vehicles with an IS38, hybrid turbo or Stage 3/3+ big turbo applications.

APR Ignition Coilpacks are designed to be a direct plug-and-play upgrade to factory coils, and provide greater energy output, ensuring a stronger and more consistent spark for VW Mk8, Mk7, Audi 8V, 8S and B9 vehicles.
The commonplace replacement of factory ignition coils with those taken from higher output Audi RS models, such as the 2.5T, is popularly believed to provide greater energy output. However, testing proves that they are no more powerful than the factory coils that are found on 1.8T and 2.0T engines. APR Ignition Coils increase energy output by 10%. They are a direct upgrade or replacement, and come with the coveted red housing made popular by the Audi R8!
