This kit is designed to be used with a factory dual-mass flywheel for the ultimate drop-in clutch upgrade solution.
Each Sachs performance clutch kit features a reinforced pressure plate designed specifically for your VW/Audi application. The pressure plate is re-inforced to handle the extra torque produced by upgrading your engine.
At the center of the Sachs performance clutch kit is their full-face organic clutch disk. This disc provides quick, factory-like actuation, without the typical on-off feel of most aftermarket clutches. In addition, the thermal and wear resistance of this disc is significantly better than the factory unit, giving you years of reliable performance
Applications and typical usage:
We recommend this clutch kit for enthusiasts with up to IS38 turbocharger upgrades and related bolt-ons (intake, exhaust, intercooler, etc). Typical use includes spirited daily driving and the occasional track day. We do not recommend this clutch kit for track-day enthusiasts that will attend multiple track events throughout the year, or drag-racing enthusiasts.

Please note: This clutch kit will not fit the FWD version of the Golf Sportwagen!
We do not recommend re-using your original flywheel with this kit. This is due to possible the wear and tear that may be present with your old flywheel. If this clutch kit is not installed by a professional shop or if you decide to use a used flywheel, the warranty will be voided.
