The 42 Draft Designs boost gauge tap is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum. The design mimics the factory intake manifold and PCV tube, squeezing a spacer between the two. In this spacer, a brass barb allows for a universal boost gauge connection. A carefully designed tab allows the fitting to lock into the stock intake manifold. Precision machining on the female side allows the PCV tube to lock in and seal without leaking. On the male side, two Viton o-rings seal the fitting inside the intake manifold.
The 42 Draft Designs boost gauge tap fits both FSI and TSI motors. Installation is quick and reversible. No tools are required and our fitting leaves no marks on the intake manifold or PCV tube. The boost gauge barb fits .170" ID tubing.
