TAROX Sport Compact brake kits take everything they have learned in a 40 year history, transfers it, shrinks it, and engineers it into something more compact and more accessible. With the Sport Compact kit they set out to engineer the full TAROX experience just in a more compact and economical way.

TAROX believes it enables drivers the best possible transition from their class leading performance OEM disc and pad packages into full racing inspired big brake conversions. Built around one of Tarox's heat treated high carbon cast discs from the OEM range, the Sport Compact range gives drivers the ability to unlock the full potential of their car whether it’s on the road or the track.


As with all TAROX kits the Sport range integrates with all modern day driving assistants such as ECS, ABS and dynamic driving aids.

The Tarox KMVW0986 323mm  Sport-Compact  brake kit features the following:

•     Hand assembled B30 6-piston calipers machined from the highest quality billet alloy.

•     Heat treated high carbon one piece 323x28mm rotors in either F2000 or Sport Japan style

•     Uprated brake pads designed for street,fast road,light track/autocross use

•     CNC machined alloy mounting brackets with bolts.

•     Braided & coated brake lines.

Built To Order:
For the bespoke touch all brake kits are tailor made to order.Estimated lead time is 2-3 weeks depending on options .For each application the calipers,lines, rotors and pads are fine tuned to maximise performance to that specific chassis. Furthermore Tarox offers a choice of no cost caliper colors in black,red,blue,gold.Custom colors are available at an extra charge please contact us for pricing and production lead times .

Tarox Performance Brake Pads:

No matter what your requirements from a brake pad TAROX will have something to suit your needs, whether it is for hard track day use or you just require a greater quality pad for your daily driver. TAROX pads are made from the highest quality materials developed to meet and exceed European regulations.

Three different compounds are available offering varying levels of performance and comfort. It is generally considered the higher performance the pad the less comfortable it will be for day to day driving conditions.

Strada Brake Pads:
The Strada pads are ideal for fast road use and every day driving. They work great from cold and provide immediate response without pre-heating whilst also offering a higher coefficient of friction for improved braking power, improved resistance to high temperatures and a longer service life than O.E materials. They provide an excellent pedal feel and allow full control over braking for the driver.

Capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 600°C, this pad has an optimum temperature range of 150°C to 350°C.

Coefficient of friction: Cold 0.37 Hot 0.42

• Available for most applications

• Gives a good progressive pedal feel

• low disc wear

• Low noise in most driving conditions

Corsa Brake Pads:
The Corsa pad is a great all – round pad, and although primarily intended for track day use, the pads can also be used to great effect for fast road use on more powerful cars. Corsa pads are still effective from cold and therefore give maximum performance at all temperatures. The high coefficient of friction gives amazing levels of pedal feel and massive amounts of bite, yet they are not hard on discs like some track type pads.

Capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 800°C, this pad has an optimum temperature range of 200°C to 600°C.

Coefficient of friction: Cold 0.47 Hot 0.49

• Available for most popular high performance cars

• Steady and fade-free performance

• Gives good pedal feel

• Can be slightly noisy at low speeds and in traffic

Competizione Brake Pads:
Developed on the race track the Competizione compound is for pure racing, delivering performance without compromise. Featuring a high coefficient of friction, this pad has a superior release characteristic compared to other race materials making it easier to modulate. It delivers a very hard pedal feel due to a low compressibility level and outstanding thermal stability which ensures constant performance lap after lap.

Capable of withstanding temperatures of over 900°C, this pad has an optimum temperature range of 400°C to 800°C.

Coefficient of friction: Cold 0.47 Hot 0.53

• Suitable for most high performance cars and all Tarox calipers

• Suitable for all types of competition

• High initial bite and very consistent performance lap after lap

• Firm pedal feel due to very low compressibilty level

• Safe but VERY noisy if used on the road.

About Tarox,

TAROX’s ability to solve braking problems quickly opened the door to the premier class of car racing when Didier Pironi won the 1980 Formula 1 Belgium Grand Prix, in a car equipped with the TAROX anti heat pistons. Such was his victory it caused all the leading teams to quickly switch to TAROX.

Just 2 years after their Formula 1 debut, and just 6 years after the company was established Keke Rosberg drove a TAROX equipped Williams to the 1982 World Title. Such was this achievement it quickly established the company founded in 1976 by Gianni Taroni (1936-2012) among the top performance brake manufacturers.
