BFI Stage 3 Complete Motor Mount Kit - VW Mk3 2.0 / VR6, Corrado VR6, Passat VR6 / TDI

This is a complete BFI Stage 3 motor mount kit for VW Mk3, B3, B4 and Corrado models equipped with a 2.0L, VR6 or TDI engine

These are Delrin, and fall in between poly and solid metal as far as stiffness goes. The mounts are available as total kits, front and pass side, or as individual front and side mounts. Delrin, like some poly versions, requires some break in time. It will take 150-250 miles for them to "soften" to their effective hardness. They also require some heat in them to soften up. On colder days they may have more vibration at start up until driven on for a few miles. They are also self lubricating so they will never squeak.

The BFI Stage 3 mounts are designed for pure performance, at the expense of ride comfort. They will hold the motor and transmission very securely and help get all the power to the ground. If you drag race or are after total performance, then the Stage II is for you. If you are concerned about vibration, then the Stage 2, or Stage 1 mounts are a better choice. We recommend these mounts for track oriented or autocross built vehicles.

If you drag race or are after nothing but performance gains, then Stage 3 mounts are for you. If you are concerned about noise or vibration, then the Stage 1, or stealth mounts are a better choice.

Upgraded hardware is included with all kits.

The rear mount now comes fully assembled in brand new brackets to ensure exact fitment!

Please Note: Any aftermarket motor mount / trans mount / dogbone mount that is firmer than the OEM mount can increase noise and/or vibration to some level above the stock mount.
