This Mk1 upper front strut bearing and mount kit will fit the following vehicles:
- Rabbit 2-door & 4-door up to 1984, including GTI, GL, Diesel, etc
- Jetta up to 1984, including GLI and Diesel
- Scirocco 1 and Scirocco 2, including 16v up to 1988
- Rabbit convertible and Cabriolet up to 1993
Kit includes everything shown in the image above.
The upper front strut bearings are an integral part of your suspension system. Keeping them fresh and flexible is extremely important, especially in a performance driving situation. Worn strut bearings can increase noise and vague feeling at the front end, in addition to poor or changing alignment specs. Any time you upgrade a new suspension part, or roughly 30k miles, whatever comes first, we recommend new strut bearing / mounts. Two kits are needed per vehicle (one left, one right).
