Any fluid or residue can prevent the proper sealing of gaskets or tightening of new hardware.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlso, while you have the transmission pan off, make sure to clean it completely. Take your time and fully clean the magnets on the inside of the pan as well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen filling the AWD clutch section, it is necessary to back the drain plug out by five turns before adding fluid. This allows for the maximum amount of fluid to enter the clutch section and fill the void entirely. Once you have finished the filling procedure, install and tighten the fill plug to 15nm, then tighten the drain plug to 15nm.
