New German Performance (NGP) is a full service automotive repair center and online parts retailer, comprised of a group of dedicated enthusiasts, providing high quality service, maintenance and performance solutions for our fellow enthusiasts and owners of European automobiles in the Mid Atlantic region.

We've been around.
Officially incorporated as New German Affiliate, Inc. in January of 1997, the founders of NGP came together to create a business which would provide an outstanding quality of work and customer service without compromise. At that time the tuning industry was still in a relative infancy, but growing by leaps and bounds. The quality of service at performance shops however was often found to be lacking. New German Performance was brought about to fill that need. We provide an outstanding customer experience with fair pricing and respect for other enthusiasts.
In April of 2007 we opened our second full service location just south of Washington D.C. in Lorton, Virginia. We believe that our local customers are the life blood of NGP, and we strive to provide them with the best products and services they require. Our move into Virginia further cemented our commitment to the Mid-Atlantic region.
With a focus on fair pricing, quick response to inquiries and solid customer service our ambition is to continue to be the performance leader and the go-to dealer service alternative business for owners of VW, Audi and other European marques in the greater Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area.

Unlike many of the ‘big box’ e-commerce parts warehouses out there, we don't just sell the parts that are on our website. With our two performance centers, all of the parts we sell are the very same that are installed and approved by our expert technicians. Having hands on experience with what we sell gives us an extra level of expertise that isn't present in your average online parts store. We'll only sell you parts that we have personally tested and proven on real cars driving on real roads and tracks. Plus our sales staff has direct access to see these parts in action and work with these same technicians should you ever have a technical question.
At NGP, all of our employees are true automotive enthusiasts. Whether it's a bagged and stanced out Mk4 Jetta VRT, or an AWD swapped time attack CC, our employees are into building and modifying the same cars you are. Our employees drive a wide variety of European vehicles, which you can see by visiting our employee project car page. As automotive enthusiasts, we all want to enjoy our cars, and our employees are determined, ready, and able to help you enjoy yours to its fullest.
Performance isn't just a word in our name. We sponsor, attend and participate in multiple high performance driver education track days and professional racing events throughout the year. We push the parts and upgrades that we sell to their limits out on track, so you don't have to question how a part will perform for you. If you have a question about how a part will perform on track, we can give you an informed, real-world answer, and not just repeat what the manufacturer has written about it.
We've got a dyno and we're not afraid to use it. We're huge fans of proven performance figures, and our in-house Dynojet 248c gives us the ability to test parts and upgrades out in the real world. We love using our dyno so much that it's not uncommon to catch our employees using it to fine tune their project cars well after our shop is closed.
We attend the same great shows that you do. Take a quick look at our shows and events page and you'll see that we're very active in the show scene. We attend as many shows as we can in order to support and stay in touch with the European car scene. If you're at one of the big east coast shows such as European Experience, H2O International or Waterfest, chances are that you'll see us there with our double-stack Renegade trailer & canopy with a huge selection of the latest parts and upgrades and a few of our shop project vehicles.
Customer service that is second to none.
At the end of the day, we realize that we wouldn't exist without the support of our customers, and as a result we try our best to give that support back. With NGP our customer service doesn't end once you receive your parts.
