Due to the coilpack harness on the 1.8T motor being exposed to high heat most of its life, it is prone to degrading and cracking. This kit features high quality automotive grade wiring and harness materials, and as such should last several years after repairing your stock harness.
Please note: 12 wires will need to be cut and crimped onto your stock OEM wiring, simply re-assemble the stock DT connector, and plug the rest in. Instructions can be found here.
